Description

The objectives of the course are to provide a balanced program of training in
practical and technical skills relevant to the declared vocation of Printing
Machining.
Graduates will be able to perform a range of competencies required of the
Printing Machinist as defined within the Graphic Arts Award with minimal
supervision and with due regard to occupational health and safety, and quality
control. On completion of this course, students will have gained an
understanding of the various processes and principles inherent to their
specialism eg Sheet fed Lithography and, in addition, will acquire a range of
knowledge and skills required of industry eg Communications and Industrial
Relations.
