Description

To enable students to acquire the theoretical and practical skills necessary to
gain employment in the
Broadcast Radio, Television and Allied Production Industries as Lighting,
Camera, Audio or Videotape
Technical Operators.

To provide students with a portfolio and recorded audition material that
demonstrates his/her operational, conceptual, communication and presentation
skills that enhances the opportunities for employment as an Operator in the
Broadcast and Allied Industries.

To allow students to gain experience in the concept and use of complex modern
radio and television broadcasting equipment.

To provide students with a realistic and exciting learning environment that
emphasises the development of operational, technological co-ordination,
written, aural, visual and personal communications skills desired by the
Broadcasting and Allied Production Industries.
