Description

To provide the learner with technical training equivalent to the first stage of the off-the-job training for the apprenticeship program.

1. This course is the copyright of the Western Australian Department of Training on behalf of the Crown.

2. The course was developed by a consultative working group co-ordinated by the Employment Initiatives Branch in conjunction with the Quality Assurance and Recognition Branch of the Department of Training. Members of the working group represented the Department of Training, the appropriate Industry Training Council on behalf of the industry and TAFE colleges with expertise in the industry area. The program was submitted for accreditation by the West Coast College of TAFE on behalf of the WA Department of Training.
