Description

The Certificate III in Design Fundamentals (Interiors) offers a broad preliminary study program in interior design which will assist participants in making choices about future directions in the design field. The Certificate III also functions as a bridge into Certificate IV courses in Interior Design, Interior Decoration, Furniture Design, Design for Industry Fashion and Textiles and Graphic Design.

The course provides a variety of creative experiences based on individual research, experimentation and observation. Students learn to visualise, develop and present ideas and images, to discuss design analytically and appreciatively, and to constructively evaluate their own work and that of others, while acquiring valuable skills and knowledge in key areas of design.
