State Implementation and Classification
Description
Highly specialised knowlege with substantial breadth and depth in the theoretical underpinning of community services practice.
Highly specialised skills in a broad range of techniques, through practical work in the community services workplace, in order to enable the candidate to analyse, diagnose, design, evaluate and make complex judgements in this environment.
Competencies in the managment of community services at both the individual and organisational levels.
Competency to initiate, analyse, design, plan execute and evaluate major, broad or highly specialised technical and managment functions in the community services context.
Competency to generate, implement and evaluate complex plans and strategies, based on the analysis of community services research.
Competency to demonstrate repsonsibility and broad ranging accountability for personal outputs and for the strategic planning, structure, management and outputs of a community service organisation.

ELECTIVES for stage one
Choose four (4) electives, including at least one (1) elective from each of groups A and B below. All electives will be assessed at graduate level. A unit that has been credited towards a qualification in the Community Services training package may not be credited as an elective in the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Community Services.

The Graduate Diploma of Community Services must include at least two (2) from the follwoing list, or from any Advanced Diploma level specialist unit of competency in the Community Services training package.
