State Implementation and Classification
Description
To provide students with skills and knowledge that will allow them to work with
individuals within a health team in specialised environments.
To provide the students with training in individual and group therapeutic,
occupational and recreational activities to promote or maintain functional
independence of individuals. (Occupational Therapy Assistants work under the
supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist).
