Description
The course aims are to provide:
- an accredited entry level training program, which addresses the identified workplace competencies for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Education workers, for people wishing to pursue a career in the Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander education sector
- access to employment as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Education Workers
- the first stage of a formalised framework for training people employed as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait islander Education Workers.
- articulation opportunities into further vocational and higher education courses.
