Description

The course aims to provide a competency-based training framework for learners
to be able to:

-
complete a course which is comprised of an agreed set of minimum
mining and resources industry contractors standards for general safety training
induction

-
complete a mining and resources contractors general safety training
induction short course required as a pre-requisite to on-site operation or
employment

-
undertake a vocational awareness or vocational taster course in order
to test a vocational interest in the mining and resources industry

-
undertake a structured program of industry specific skills and
knowledge at the introductory level to enhance opportunities of being selected
as a trainee or employee in the mining and resources industry.
