Description

This qualification is the next level after the Certificate IV in Law Enforcement, which a student must complete to progress into the Diploma. The Diploma will provide you with specialised skills and knowledge in Criminal Law and related areas. This will include subjects like Court Evidence, Legal Jurisdiction, Police Procedure, Crimes Against the Person, Criminology, Forensic Science and Practice & Procedures (Magistrate’s Court). The Diploma is specifically geared to build on that knowledge acquired in Certificate IV and give students a deeper understanding in Criminal Law and Criminal practice.

The requirements for the Diploma of Business (Law Enforcement) will comprise achievement of eight (8) units PLUS all units within the Certificate IV (as listed in Group 1)
