Description

To provide the knowledge and skills required for a learner to gain employment
in an industry where electrical/electronic skills are used.

To provide knowledge and skills that articulate with recognised apprenticeship
and production process courses in the instrument/electrical area.

To provide a range of transferable skills that will allow a learner to access
employment or further vocational education and training opportunities in areas
other than the instrument/electrical industry.

To provide and co-ordinate “work experience” only within the guidelines
endorsed by the Electrical Licensing Board - Office of Energy, Western
Australia.

GENERAL NOTES

Students will be undertaking work experience placement 1 day a week over a 20
week period.
Midland College of TAFE will organise suitable work experience placements for
students with
electrical/instrumentation contractors.

This course is the copyright of the Midland College of TAFE on behalf of
the Crown. Training providers who wish to deliver this program must be
registered by their State accrediting body.
