Description

The Course in Gaining Access to Training and Employment (GATE) (Introductory) has been developed as part of a suite of access and transition programs designed to assist learners to articulate into vocational pathways and to develop the skills and abilities to direct their own progress.

The Course in Gaining Access to Training and Employment (GATE) (Introductory) aims to provide training that focuses on a wide range of educational outcomes including skills in:
- Communication
- Introductory maths
- Introductory computer and internet use
- Personal development
- Community participation
- Workplace practice

Schedule
Learners must complete all five (5) core units listed below, plus up to 120 hours of elective units to be awarded the qualification Course in Gaining Access to Training and Employment (GATE) (Introductory).
