To enable learners to acquire the theoretical and practical skills necessary to find employment in the film, television and allied media production industries as technical operators, writers, producers and directors and related occupations.

To provide learners with the ability to produce a portfolio of recorded produced audition material that demonstrates his/her operational, conceptual, communication and presentation skills that enhance the opportunities for employment in the Film and Television industries.

To allow learners to gain experience in the concept and use of modern equipment as used in the television broadcast industry.
