1 Completion of the modules in this course will provide the learner with
the off-the-job component only. Competent performance will be achieved when
the learner can practise the skills and meet the requirements of recognised
competency schedules.
2 57023 Small Craft Proficiency (ME) may be substituted for 57113 in the
core.
3 CREDIT TRANSFER
Upon successful completion of the technical training
section of this course, the learner will be credited
with the relevant modules in the Certificate of Pre-
Vocational Studies - Marine, Certificate of
Nautical Fishing, Certificate of Aquaculture or the
Certificate of Vessel Operations.
4 MARINE ENTRY TRAINING PROGRAM
To be eligible for the Marine Entry Training Program
the learner must reach a pass standard or competence
in all modules of the course.
5 The course and some of the modules attached to this course are the
copyright of the Western Australian Fishing Industry Training Council. These
are 57012, 57013, 57012, 57011, 57028, 57034 and 57035.
6 The course has been accredited by the Western Australian Fishing
Industry Training Council and may not be franchised without the permission of
