of points. To enable a student to gain a pass in this course, a minimum of 20
points must be attained. All electives listed above are assigned 2 points each
except stationary equipment which is assigned 1 point only.
2 Specific elective relevant to the particular industry/enterprise will
be assessed using a points system.
3 Each elective will contain a theory component and a practical
component. The weighting given to the two components will vary according to
the specific skills required by the industry sector.
