Description
To provide the learner with the opportunity to extend the systematic and
creative techniques in Design 1A/1B. This module extended design skill which
the learners have achieved to date, including problem solving relating to
buildings for public use.
Range of Variables
To provide a studio-based core subject which facilitates the integration of all
concurrent subjects, and extend the learner’s cognitive design skills.
Evidence Guide
Learners will be required to demonstrate achievement of the learning outcome by
progressive assessment of individual drawings submitted at the completion of
each major topic..

-Access to a well lit design studio equipped with adjustable drawing boards,
parallel lines, ergonomically designed furniture, pin-up boards and projection
surfaces for an audio-visual presentation

-The environmental quality of the studio must conform with the relevant and
appropriate Australian Standards on Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
