Description
To provide students with practical experience in a working environment.
To develop their understanding of the role of the library technician in the
workforce.
This unit must be undertaken in special and/or academic libraries, or students
may opt for work experience in a records section of a large organisation. It
will consist of 1 hour per week for tutorials and 204 hours supervised work
experience over one semester.
