Description
To provide learners with the skills necessary to prepare drawings for sewerage,
water and stormwater drainage pipelines, and reticulation networks in
accordance with the practices outlined in AS1100.401.

Range of Variables
This module contains learning outcomes that require theory instruction under
standard drawing room conditions and practical instruction. The theory
component will be assessed at the end of the instructional period when learners
are required to sit for a closed book theory test.
The practical component will be assessed by appropriate drawing assignments.
It is necessary to pass individually the practical component and the theory
component to pass the module.
On completion of this module, the learner will be able to prepare drawings
required in the construction of sewerage, water and stormwater drainage
pipeline reticulation networks, in accordance with the practices outlined in
AS1 100.401.
Note: The assessment items may be completed using manual drafting and/or
computer aided drafting techniques.
Suggested time allocation for each learning outcome including testing:
