To provide students with understanding and practical
skills relating to the principles and practices of
cartography.

Students who successfully complete the course should have demonstrated that
they can:

- plot and draft a map or plan
- perform scale changes
- utilise relief representation techniques
- reproduce a map or plan by non-printing process.
