Description
To provide the learner with the basic concepts of quality
management and improvement and as they apply to the
automotive and transport industry.
Range of Variables
This module integrates theory and practice. Group
discussion should be used to identify examples of
problems and possible solutions relating to quality
management in the workshop.
Evidence Guide
Knowledge Short answer test and/or multichoice - written, oral or
graphic, which may be paper or computer based.

Practical Practical exercises involving practising skills required
followed by end of module practical exercise which must be based on the
assessment criteria for each learning outcome.

Learners must demonstrate competence in all learning
outcomes to the assessment criteria standard, with all the
necessary tools and equipment supplied, and without
assistance (unless otherwise stated in the learning
outcome).
