Description
To introduce the learner to the notion of conceptual work.

To integrate planning and problem solving into the production of works.

To continue the development of drawing, design and technical skills.

To apply an integrated approach to projects by using this module to develop
drawing and design material to support the work of selected studio areas.

To identify and observe the importance of presentation and occupational health
and safety.

Assessment will include a mid-semester review with written feedback. Final
assessment will be conducted by a panel of three lecturers, including the
module lecturer, and learning outcomes will be assessed in a holistic manner.
All projects referred to should show a relationship to the areas of studio
practice selected by the learner (examples of this may include drawings,
designs, maquettes, conceptually related material, research material, etc).
