Description
To provide students with an elementary understanding of:

- Touch-typing
- File management
- Computer Hardware - general and graphic-specific
- Operating system commands
- Batch files.

To provide students with the knowledge necessary to create and modify text
files with a word processor and a text editor.

Students who successfully complete this course should demonstrate that they:

- are familiar with typing
- have an understanding of the relationship of computer
hardware in a system
- can manipulate data within the system, using operating
system commands
- can create and modify text files with a word processor
or a text editor.
