This subject aims to:
- teach the advanced features of NATURAL Version 2.
- give practical experience in the use of NATURAL to develop
commercial information processing applications.

Students must pass the written paper. Where a pass
is achieved in the written paper, the overall mark
is the sum of the two components, weighted as shown
above. Otherwise, the overall mark is determined by 100% weighting for
the written paper.

Exam solutions are to be written in STRUCTURED MODE.
Five questions of various weightings on any of the
following topics:
- Database modification
- Modularisation
- File access
- Structured control statements
- Language utilities
Internal Assessment 30%
Students should be able to design, code and test
assignments/exercises on the following topics:
- sorting
- advanced break processing
- mapping facilities
- two-dimensional array processing
- modular programming
- window techniques
