Description
To explore the field of selling.

To develop the student's ability to sell.

To provide an overview of people behaviour.

To improve the student's people skills.

To encourage students to develop a soft-sell approach to selling. They will be
given encouragement to develop their own style of selling, rather than learn a
rules-centred approach.

One two-hour examination 60%

Objective Test should be constructed to test reasoning rather than rote.

Role Play is intended to give the student an opportunity to develop selling
skills. Students should be given a number of attempts to master a presentation.

Emphasis should be on Soft Selling. Students should be encouraged to develop a
style which fits their own personalities, they should not learn a Sales Script.
