Description
To provide students with information and practice which will enable them to
identify and name the plants on a specified study list.

To provide the student with the skills and knowledge necessary to describe
plant characteristics and cultural requirements for a range of aquatic plants,
roses, annuals/bedding plants, herbaceous
perennials, fruit trees, vegetables and herbs.

To enable the student to provide information concerning the various uses of
plants, so that the
most suitable plants are chosen for a particular landscape.

To present the cultural methods required to obtain the optimum performance from
aquatic plants, roses, annuals/bedding plants, herbaceous perennials, fruit
trees, vegetables and herbs.
