To provide training in the skills and knowledge of a range of computer applications and their relevance to the dry cleaning and laundry industries.

Assessment is the gathering of evidence of successful performance.
The assessment should focus on the learning outcome not on individual assessment criteria. Assessment criteria are indicators of successful performance of the learning outcome.
A holistic approach assessment is desirable, ie. a single assessment instrument may assess more than one learning outcome. For example, a workplace project may assess both the planning and execution of a task(s).
Examples of assessment instruments include, but are not restricted to:
- practical demonstrations or tests
- observation checklists
- oral questioning
- short answer written tests
- written assignments
- projects
- portfolios
- peer assessment
- simulations
Results will be expressed as Pass (P) or Not Complete (NC).
