Students must pass each portion of the assessment.
- Assignment from Topics 3, 4 and 5 20%
- Test on Topic 2 10%
- Test on Topics 1 and 3-7 10%
- Practical Test o on preparation of surgical packs,
preparation of an animal for surgery, and scrubbing, gowning and
gloving 20%
- Final written test (two hours) 40%
o covering all topics
To pass the subject students must gain an aggregate
of at least 20% on Sections (a), (b) and (c). They
must pass the practical test and the final written
test.
