Description
To provide a framework which integrates and
underpins all aspects of the students' musical
training, viz: performance, theoretical knowledge,
listening, communication and personal commitment.
To expose students to a model of the working band -
its composition, rehearsal routine and performance
practice.
To encourage students to work with different instrumental configurations and to
develop adaptability.
To enable students to experience the importance of
their own personal contribution towards the success
of the group.
