Description
The objective of this unit is to
introduce students to Community work as
distinct from other methods of social
welfare work such as interpersonal
helping and work with groups. A
further objective of this unit is to
introduce students to using the
organisation of welfare funding to
develop community projects. These
objectives are achieved by examining
the development in Australian and WA of
health education and welfare services
for the aged.
