The assessment methods should be based on the principles and techniques underpinning continuous assessment strategies and will ideally take into account observations of individual learning differences. The assessment guidelines may include negotiated student assessment contracts, peer group assessment, individual student assessment based on a defined assessment criteria and the evaluation of cognitive learning and motivational competency within a practical project based learning environment.
