Description
To provide the student with a comprehensive
appreciation of:

- Sheep diseases and the subsequent economic losses that
result.
- The husbandry practices required for the successful
management of sheep.

To provide the student with a sufficiently detailed
knowledge to:
- Evaluate the broader aspects of disease conditions and
take preventive action.

- Appreciate the economic losses that can occur from
parasitic and disease conditions.

One 2 hour divisional written exam 50%

A pass in one component and a minimum of 45% in the
other is required for an overall pass.

This subject includes site visits requiring
transport.
