Description
To extend the learners’ skills acquired in Architectural Presentation Drawings
1A, 1B and 2A in the preparation of visual material for the presentation of
major projects including manual rendering of CAD generated drawings.

Range of Variables
This studio-based subject facilitates a predominantly exploratory approach to
graphic techniques. This is achieved by a ‘guided experimentation’ method
where learners are asked to graphically represent projects developed in
Architectural Design 2B. Learners are expected to use traditional tools as
well as creative use of photocopiers with reduction facilities, plain paper
copiers or dyeline machines. Based on initial results and comments from
teachers and peers, learners will refine their presentation by using knowledge
gained during classroom demonstration of a variety of techniques.

Learners will be required to present folio of drawings demonstrating on
completion of each drawing topic, achievement of the set learning outcomes.

-Pin-up boards to facilitate discussion and critique
-Audio-visual projection facilities with a suitable black-out provision to
show slides, videos, films and overhead projection screen
-Access by the learners to the photocopier with enlarging capability to CAD
