This module is to be assessed internally and externally using competence to complete each concept as a measure of learner achievement.
Internal Assessment
Two classroom tests on Topics 1-6 40%
The learner is required to achieve a score of at least
50% in these two tests
One classroom test on Topic 7 (Medication Calculations) 20%
The learner is required to achieve a score of at least
100% competency.
One re-test is available.
External Assessment
Examination (2-hour paper) 40%
The learner is required to achieve at least 50% in this exam.
