Description
The purpose of this module is to provide competency
based training to develop skills in planning,
organising and controlling the work of operatives in
a business to effectively achieve goals.

The module addresses the generic management skills
that a first level manager should possess to
contribute to the effective performance of the
business unit. A first level manager is defined as
a person with responsibility for the output of
others at the first line of management in an
organisation. It is suitable for the participants who have an
established work orientation and who have a responsibility for the output of
others who or want to be prepared for that responsibility.
