Description
Range of Variables
Delivery to take place in a classroom/workshop or a suitable workplace and on
excursions to provide:
- ready access to a suitable range of the sprinklers and components (as
listed in the Resource Requirements) in sufficient quantity for the learners to
observe the equipment and practice the skills required
- ready access to sites with operational irrigation equipment to carry
out maintenance and testing
- ready access to classroom/workshop with all relevant tools.
To allow credible competency-based training and assessment the class size MUST
NOT exceed fifteen learners.

learner achievement.
The learner is required to demonstrate competency in each of the learning
outcomes in line with the assessment method shown.
Assessment will be based on an appropriate selection of the following methods:
- short oral explanations of procedures
- longer written and/or oral tests and/or
- practical demonstration of the skills required.
