Description
To provide learners with:
Module 4/5: Stormwater Disposal
- An ability to identify stormwater disposal requirements for
residential buildings.
- An ability to correctly select appropriate stormwater disposal systems
for residential buildings.
- A detailed knowledge of regulations, standards and associated codes of
practice applicable to stormwater disposal (including AS3500, AS1562, AS2180:
Metal Rainwater Goods Selection and Installation).
- A detailed knowledge of the installation requirements for stormwater
disposal systems for residential buildings and a practical understanding of
stormwater disposal methods and techniques.
- A comprehensive revision of the requirements for safe work on roofs.
- A demonstrated ability to correctly and safely fabricate and install
stormwater disposal systems on actual/simulated residential buildings
- A comprehensive revision of protective clothing/equipment requirements
applicable to installation of stormwater disposal.
