Description
This is the advanced core unit, and as much, is
designed to reinforce the content of the base core
unit, plus introduce:

To provide principle of operation and servicing
procedures, for the components of a pneumatic
system.

To practice fault-finding analysis, for both simple and advanced circuitry.

A pass must be obtained in each.

Theory

One 1.5-hour written/objective test 50%

Practical

Satisfactory completion of Practical
objectives 50%

To achieve a satisfactory standard, the student must
pass both the Theoretical and Practical component of
the course assessment.

Students who gain a satisfactory pass in the "TAFE
Mobile Resources" Short Course Pneumatic System
Maintenance, will be given exemption from the
practical component of this subject.
