Description
To develop familiarity with the various statutes and
the ability to systematically search statutes under
time pressure constraints and to discover provisions
relevant to the problem under consideration.
To develop a knowledge of legal principles and
concepts gained from legal precedent and statutes
studied in this course.
To develop an understanding of the law sufficient to
define, list, explain, describe, discuss, compare,
contrast, distinguish and illustrate related
principles and concepts.
To develop the ability to apply principles and
concepts thus learned to solving simulated problems
of Local Government by use of class discussion,
lecturer-prepared modules and appropriate assignment
materials.
