To provide the learner with the knowledge and practical skills to prepare
permanent, stained microscope slides of animal and/or plant tissues. Learners
will also gain basic skills in the interpretation of animal and/or plant

This module may be delivered on or off-the-job.
Fur full-time learners, the module hours should be sequenced over a semester to
ensure adequate time for skills development. Where delivery is via block
release, a minimum time of nine weeks is recommended.
