Description
To improve the effectiveness of mechanical
maintenance on the drills, by introducing the
student to the machine systems and components, to
enable:

- location and identification of key components, systems and their
adjustment/test points.

- interpretation of the parts and maintenance manuals.

- tracing of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits to simulate
general functions, and identification of potential problem areas.

- start-up and operation of the machine's mast and
forward/reverse travel.

- diagnosis of faults in a logistical manner.
