This subject aims to:
- provide a sound foundation in Applied Mechanical
principles appropriate to operational applications.
- provide the appropriate educational requirements for the
subject area, specified in the Uniform Shipping Laws Code, to the rank of
Engineer Watchkeeper.
- prepare the Engineer for the subject Operational Mechanics
2A and 2B.
