One hour written test of objective type
questions on Health and Safety theory
and activity provision and supervision.
Assignments 40%
Health and Safety assignment which may
be on menu planning, a health resource
file or on some other topic 20%
Centre layout assignment concluding
with a summary of the role of the
playleader in the provision of
play 20%
Practical Assessment 20%
As part of a small group of two or
three persons, plan and run an
activity, demonstrating:
- adequate preparation and planning
- setting up area according to guidelines for activity
- attention to warm-up, flow, closure
- correct use of materials and safe working practices
- provision for all individuals.
