Assessment of course work:
2 Assignments
- Produce a hydraulic circuit in symbol form of a
hydraulically operated machine, the circuit to comprise (minimum) pump,
reservoir, cylinder (or motor), directional control valve, speed and pressure
control valves and filtration.
- Produce a pneumatic circuit in symbol form of a
pneumatically operated machine, utilising a minimum of three actuators
operating in a continuous sequence and incorporating emergency stop, fail safe,
and two handed safety start.
A pass is required in both examination and assignment
work.
Course work assessment may be carried forward one year.
