To ensure that learners can interpret the symbols and information on site plans
for irrigation installation.

Delivery to take place in a classroom/workshop or a suitable workplace to

- access to a room suitably set up with drawing boards and drawing
equipment
- access to relevant designs, preferably in class sets.
To allow credible competency-based training and assessment the class size MUST

This subject is to be assessed internally using competence as a measure of
learner achievement.
The learner is required to demonstrate competency in each of the learning
outcomes in line with the assessment method shown.
Assessment will be based on an appropriate selection of the following methods:
- short oral explanations of procedures
- longer written and/or oral tests and/or
- practical demonstration of the skills required in the relevant
assessment in the final module.
