Description
To provide a framework which integrates and
underpins all aspects of the students' musical
training, viz: performance, theoretical knowledge,
listening, communication and personal commitment.
To expose students to a model of the working band -
its composition, rehearsal routine and performance
practice.
To provide an opportunity for students to experience the interpersonal
interaction involved in group music-making.
To enable students to experience the importance of
their own personal contribution towards the success
of the group.
