Description
To provide the learner with the knowledge and skills that they will need to be
able to recognise back problems and postural defects and subsequently prescribe
safe exercises for clients.

Since fitness instruction is physically stressful by nature the instructor
needs to implement occupational safety measures.
Range of Variables
This module provides for the delivery of off-the-job training in a variety of
modes requiring both theoretical and practical instruction.

Strategies should reflect the nature of the learning outcomes. Generally
classroom exercises, demonstrations and written assignments as well as short
answer tests will be used for assessment purposes.
