Description
To give engineering students a grounding in the
fundamentals of organic and inorganic chemistry, and
show how it relates to engineering circumstances.

One two hour examination 70%
Laboratory assessment to comprise of at least three
demonstration/practical sessions as outlined in the
student objectives. Laboratory reports to be
written up as formal technical reports in line with
the standard report writing procedures of the study
area.

A pass is required in both examination and laboratory work. Laboratory
assessment may be carried forward one year.
