This subject aims to:
- provide a sound foundation in Steam Turbine and
Auxiliaries, Construction, Maintenance and Operational Principles appropriate
to operational applications.
- provide the appropriate educational requirements for the
subject area, specified in the Uniform Shipping Laws Code, to the rank of
Engineer Watchkeeper.
- prepare the Engineer for the subject Operational Steam
Engines 2.
