Description
To enable the student to:

- describe and perform procedures used in soil chemical
laboratories.

- describe and perform procedures used in soil physical
laboratories.

- give the terms used to describe soil structure in the
field, and the procedures used to define structural stability in the laboratory.

- describe factors which influence soil structural
stability, and give methods used to stabilise agricultural and engineering
soils.
