Description
This unit aims to introduce students to
some specific developmental test and to
develop a knowledge of the variety of
community agencies that can be called
upon to further develop the full
potential of clients. Students should
be encouraged to contribute their
relevant experience in tutorial
presentation and class participation.
The course content and presentation
should remain flexible to ensure
relevance to the wide range of areas in
which students are employed.

description of the service, referral procedures, and relevance to their work as
social trainers and the development of skills in clients.
- Individual students presentation of their work in
developing a specific skill in a client under headings of pre-requisites,
current skills, teaching method and evaluation.
- Examination giving students a choice of a wide range of
questions covering all aspects of the course.
- Marks expressed as a percentage and given.
