The purpose of this module is to provide training in operational procedures and work methods.
On completion, the learner will be able to give direction to and organise a group of workers and identify and resolve operational problems.

Range of Variables
The length of time taken to complete a module will vary, depending on factors such as teaching methods used, knowledge and skills at entry and individual participants’ abilities.
This module provides for delivery on-the-job, off-the-job or by a combination of on and off-the-job training in a variety of modes.
Some areas of content may be common to more than one learning outcome and therefore integration may be appropriate.
The following delivery methods are suggested as those most likely to achieve the module outcomes:
- wherever possible, delivery methods should draw on the participants’ own experiences.
The learner will be provided with:
- enterprise operational procedures
- enterprise quality and Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
